Summer intern
Aryan Kumar is an Intern at the Peng Lab. His research interests include applying large-scale data and natural language processing to analyze the impact of social determinants of health (SDoH) on health risks. Prior to joining the lab, he developed machine learning pipelines at a Stanford Neuroscience lab to extract seizure localization features from clinical narratives and EEG data. He is a USA Computing Olympiad (USACO) Platinum medalist and an IEEE ICHI 2026 Young Scholar.
